Late blog once again. Family was using the computer at the time I would've wanted to post so had to postpone my update. So went bowling, came back and here we go. Also apology sketch? I'ts in pink you have to like it right? I even gave it a sword!
In any case first things first, a few classmates and I got together sometime last week and discussed a project we'll be working on come January. It's going to be quite the endeavor and I'm happy to be working together with these guys on it. Can't go into details on what it is because I want to hold off on that till later. But with the design planning and working out some elements I haven't been able to start on that animation practice like I hoped to. So that'll will have to come soon (tm).
Secondly our graduating class had our portfolio show today, which is suppose to be a day where we present ourselves to companies and such people who choose to show up. And while I think I did a good job on that only one person of the 53 companies that were contacted actually showed up for the show, a person we were already familiar with no less. Though that person will be needing two artist around January time and I'll be apply for that position, I had hoped that I'd be able to show the work I've done to other places. But I think something like that will come in time.
Lastly, tablets. I've said before how I've been learning how to use my tablet and I have been using it (not counting the beautiful work of pink I posted above), I definitely feel like I need a better quality tablet. I've set my eyes on medium sized Intos Pro. It's a decent sized tablet with many of the features of the cintiq tablets I've used at school minus the screen display and it's a nice price of $350. That will be the first thing I'll be going for when I get the chance.
till next Wednesday.
