Structure
So, a problem that has been closing in on me for these design weeks is that I have no structure to them. For the most part I've just been picking something, and then doing it. A two step process, which is starting to slowly fall off. I have been working on something, but it's still a bit ways from being finished. But I've been thinking of how I can find some ground to work from with these.
Essentially what I plan is to spend an hour or so doing these steps:
Tuesday: Planning and Setup - Figuring out what I want to do for that week, and getting any resources I need, i.e reference, color choice, etc.
Wednesday: Rough sketches - Simply doing roughs of what I want it to look like. No clean lines, no hard details, just the quick and dirty.
Thursday: Line work - Cleaning up lines, plain and simple, preparing for the coloring and such
Friday: Colors and ?? - Filling in the colors, also plain and simple. Possibly adding more to things as I deem necessary.

This is what I have been working on previously. But I'm heavily leaning towards scraping it and starting from the beginning tomorrow following this new structure. I shouldn't had something like this sooner, but that's the process of learning. Like this I could also keep records of where I am each day, and include those in on the Monday it's shown. Hmmm.
Watch Dogs
So today, or what should be yesterday, is a late blog. Super late actually, and the reason it's late is partly because of the above talk about structure. And also because I went to the midnight release for the game Watch Dogs. I got the game (for PC) and am installing it now, which by the way is a whole 3 discs of installation. I find that to be a lot but it makes sense seeing how much in the game there is to do.

Donut People
Donut People: I... I don't know, I came across this today and I had to share it. It's a video made by Brandon Voges who works at Bruton Stroube. The video itself was made for the National Restaurant Association's annual food show, featuring a photograph of a person and a strategically set up donut and props that depict the person to some degree. It's unique it's weird, and I love it. You can watch the video at this link Here.
